The latest fishing report is in, and there are several more locations with reports of Redfish doing well.
Last weekend, I had caught a couple of the beach in Surfside and many passers-by had told me that Redfish was hot on the beach throughout the week in the mornings.
The weather looks ok, but not fantastic for this upcoming weekend; however, that is offset by a pretty good Solunar bite activity forecast. It appears that the best time for most active fish biting will be in the morning between 6-8 AM. I think I will aim for first cast just before six and then head back home for chores around nine. My target will be trout I think this time around and close to home. Time to study the Texas Parks and Wildlife Regional Fishing Report a bit more and decide where I will ultimately end up fishing.
